The City of San Diego proposes to use federal funds to install a roof mounted photovoltaic system on the Scripps Ranch Recreation Center. This National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) determination is a follow-on from the original determination (GF0-10-096) which required the recipient to submit site specific information for proposed solar installations. This project will include the installation of a 30 kilowatt roof mounted photovoltaic system, installation of a battery storage system within an existing storage facility; integrated controls will also be housed within the facility. The project will also include project management, outreach and content development for public displays, and measurement and evaluation of the system.
