Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Develop strategic plan (completed) 2) hire a Sustainability Coordinator, 3) funding to complete Phase II of the Sustainability Plan, 4) lighting retrofits at 20 municipal facilities and partially support the cost of the chiller tower upgrade at City Hall, 5) purchase energy audit equipment and training, and 6) install new methane recovery wells at municipal landfill to enhance waste to energy project.
