The City of Saint Paul would modify an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) activity (Electric Vehicle Charging Stations) to include the purchase of three electric vehicles. While the installation and purchase of the electric vehicle charging stations would remain unchanged, the City would also utilize EECBG funds to cover the incremental cost of purchasing three electric vehicles as compared to purchasing conventional fuel vehicles. The new vehicles would result in decreased fuel consumption and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
