Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The Colville Confederated Tribes of Washington proposes to 1) conduct energy audits of the Okanagan Language Immersion Tribal School and the Omak Fish and Wildlife Building and conduct energy efficiency and conservation weatherization building retrofits for these two buildings which would include replacing insulation; weatherizing doors, entry ways, and ventilation systems; replacing windows; and installing energy efficiency water heaters; 2) further refine and develop the canola planting cycle which would include obtaining access to tribal lands and equipment, coordinating land preparation efforts such as spraying of weeds, coordinating equipment transferred to the fields, coordinating clearing of fields, planning the planting schedule, and conducting research of acquisition of the processing equipment; and 3) install an approximate 10 kilowatt solar photovoltaic panel system on the Okanagan Language Immersion Tribal School and the Omak Fish and Wildlife Building.
