Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant. 1) Building retrofits to Libraries (Southwest Branch [1958], Central Library [1974], Kress Family Branch [2003], Ashwaubenon Branch [1977], Weyers-Hilliard Branch [1999]) which includes: implementing night setback/set-up, building envelope improvements to include replacement of roofs, doors, and windows or resealing existing doors/windows and adding insulation, occupancy sensors, lighting upgrades/replacements, recommissioning building (conduct study to determine if buildings are operating as intended and if current operating needs are being met), sealing duct leaks and insulating supply ducts, converting variable inlet vanes to variable frequency drives; 2) building retrofits to county buildings (Aging and Disability Resource Center, Sophie Beaumont Building, Work Release Center, and Courthouse) which includes: heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) upgrades, lighting upgrades, installing variable frequency drives, and converting pneumatic HVAC controls to direct digital controls); 3) install 20 kilowatt rooftop solar photovoltaic system installation at Barkhausen County Park Interpretive Center (Exhibit Addition 1980); 4) install rooftop solar hot water thermal system for Brown County Jail (2001), New Sheriff Department Building (2002), and Shelter Care Facility (1991); 5) install 11 kilowatt solar, ground-mounted, pedestal photovoltaic system on Weyers-Hilliard Branch Library (1999); 6) install 20 kilowatt solar, ground-mounted, pedestal photovoltaic system on Sheriff Department Building (2002); 7) install 20 kilowatt solar, ground-mounted, pedestal photovoltaic system at Way-Morr Park; and 8) install 20 kilowatt solar, ground-mounted, pedestal photovoltaic system at Fairgrounds.
