Boise State University (BSU) is proposing to "increase the capacity of the National Geothermal Data System (NGDS) to be able to accommodate the anticipated flood of new data and legacy data in the near term and into the future." Since BSU is the central hub of the NGDS network, they will be responsible for following through on a new mandate that "requires the NGDS to acquire, manage, and provide access to data from multiple sources not presently associated with the NGDS and with a much expanded breadth of data types."
