The Washington Department of Commerce will use $323,237 of Recovery Act funding within its Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Loan and Grant Program for the City of Federal Way Energy Efficiency Retrofit Project. This project is a building energy efficiency retrofit in a twenty year old city hall. The seven proposed energy conservation measures are a lighting retrofit, roof top unit heat pump replacement, ceiling insulation, solar water preheat system, exhaust fan motor replacement, retro-commissioning of the building control system and the installation of vending machine controls.
