Gas sampling tubes will be used to collect Isopar L or similar solvents from gas streams in research projects. The gas sampling tubes are desorbed with carbon disulfide and then analyzed by gas chromatography either at ACTL 999-1W by E&CPT personnel or in 773-A by Analytical Development personnel. Standard solutions of Isopar L or similar solvents in carbon disulfide will also be prepared. The carbon disulfide may also contain about 100 milligrams per liter of phenyloctane internal standard for chromatography.
