The City of San Antonio, Texas proposes to use $2,400,000.00 of Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funding for their proposed Transportation Enhancement Project. This project is comprised of seven (7) activities including: Downtown Bicycle Route Signage, Bike Shared Rental Program, Bike Racks at City-Owned "Green Events" Locations, Employee Pilot Bike-Share Program, Alternative Fuel Station (Electric Vehicle Charging and Ethanol-85), Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, and Upgrade of Municipal Fleet Vehicles to Hybrid Vehicles.
