The Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) will characterize undissolved solids (UDS) from the dissolution of spent nuclear fuel used in a Coupled-End-to-End (CETE) demonstration of reprocessing technology performed at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The focus of the characterization will include measuring the fissile material content of the UDS, fission product elemental and/or isotopic concentrations, and physical properties of the UDS to the extent possible.
