Titration involves adding a known volume and a known concentration of an appropriate standardized reagent to a known volume of sample. End points in the titration are sensed electrochemically through an electrode (pH probe). Equivalence points are calculated by TIM870 software and recorded on a titration curve. Methodologies include Total Acid, Free Acid, Total Base, Free OH/Other Base Excluding Carbonate, and pH (please see TC-A-2011-0009).
