Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Conduct energy assessment program (audits) on residential and commercial buildings; 2) energy efficiency building retrofits to include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning Direct Digital Controls installation, recaulking windows, and adding insulation at City Hall and purchasing eligible materials and equipment needed to implement energy efficiency measures and rebate grants to property owners; and 3) install solar photovoltaic system on rooftop (256 kilowatt) at the Worchester Technical High School.
