Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Solazyme to build, operate and optimize a pilot-scale Solazyme Integrated Biorefinery (SzIBR). DOE completed the National Environmental Policy Act review for this project (CXA A9 and B3.6) for the originally proposed site. At this time, Solazyme is proposing to complete their project at an alternate location.
