Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant for: Retrofit a number of energy efficiency measures to existing City facilities, including lighting, controls, programmable thermostats, envelop sealing and high efficiency equipment. The retrofits will include an office building and a parking garage. The retrofits will be in addition to the $2 million Performance Contract work the City is already doing. Total estimated cost for the retrofits is $39,800. The remaining $80,000 will be used toward the installation of a slow-fill compressed natural gas fueling station at the City Municipal Services Campus for the fueling of fleet vehicles. The is the first phase of the City's Compressed Natural Gas Project and the fueling station will be located within the Municipal Services Campus in an area that is already used for vehicle storage.
