Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Technical consultant to prepare Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, and Climate Action Plan; 2) Energy efficiency lighting retrofits at Hester Community Center and purchase energy efficient appliances; 3) Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) upgrade to Schoolhouse Children?s Museum; 4) Retrofit gas water heaters to solar water heaters and install photovoltaic panels to provide solar power generation at Fire Station #5 and install a kiosk/monitoring system; and 5) Install motion occupancy sensors at various city facilities.
