Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant for: 1) Develop Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy that includes feasibility and planning for energy efficiency retrofits, energy distribution projects, community geothermal initiative, transportation projects, and renewable energy projects, and also includes education and promotional programs, 2) energy efficiency retrofits/upgrades for County buildings, 3) comprehensive review of local zoning, ordinances, regulations, and guidelines for transportation project, 4) develop and implement building code amendments to promote sustainable buildings.
