Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Develop energy efficiency and conservation strategy, 2) retrofit lighting systems in City Hall (1981) and Public Safety Building (1952) including parking garage with more energy efficient lighting systems, 3) upgrade heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) controls, install variable frequency drives on HVAC system and install desuperheater waste heat recovery system in the City Hall; install insulation and improve hot water control in the Public Safety Building, and 4) acquire technical services to provide grant administration services.
