Researchers plan to use the static test cell to conduct filter tests with a variety of filter media. The feed for the tests will consist of water, simulated Savannah River Site (SRS) salt solution, nitric acid, oxalic acid, sodium hydroxide, simulated SRS sludge, monosodium titanate, and crystalline silicotitanate.
