Oklahoma's Department of Commerce would pass Department of Energy (DOE) share funding to the Public Service Company of Oklahoma ("PSO"). PSO would use DOE funding for a revolving loan fund, which could fund installation of 10,000 gridSMART meters. The gridSMART meters will be the same size as the existing meters and will fit into the existing meter box at or on the facility. There will be no additional wiring needed for installation of the gridSMART meters.
