University of Florida would use Department of Energy funding to develop a direct methanol fuel cell power supply for mobile computing. Tasks 1-5 would focus on balance of plant and packaging advances through component miniaturization and integration leading to advances in both power and energy density of the prototype power supply for portable computing. Task 6 would involve project management.
