The City of New Orleans would use Department of Energy American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding to implement a renewable energy financing district and perform education to the public on how to best use the new transferable state renewable energy tax credits. Activities under this project would include implementing a plan for New Orleans' proposed sustainable energy financing district; identifying stakeholders; conducting a demand analysis; conducting public outreach; and project management.
