CX-017197: Stormwater Drainage Improvement at Idaho National Laboratory Research Center

The purpose of the proposed action is to improve stormwater drainage at the Idaho National Laboratory Research Center and to eliminate pooling and allow proper flow of precipitation away from an area about 50 feet by 100 feet on the asphalt between the Idaho National Laboratory Engineering Demonstration Facility (IEDF [IF-657]) and the Idaho National Laboratory Research Center Physics Laboratory (IF-638). The proposed action is to excavate and grade the asphalt area and smaller areas immediately adjacent to the asphalt that also have inadequate stormwater drainage. After excavation, new base material would be placed on the compacted sub-base, and new asphalt would be installed.
