Bonneville Power Administration is proposing to remedy two impairments along the 27 mile of the Big Eddy-Knight transmission line in The Dallas District. To remedy the impairments Bonneville Power Administration would initially stock pile top soil at each location and then excavate 18 cubic yards of subsoil from one site and 19 cubic yards from another site. The excavated soil would then be spread evenly along low lying portions of the right-of-way and seeded. Proposed impairment work would utilize this type of equipment: excavators, bull-dozers, and dump trucks.
