Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The Chitimacha Tribe has a long-term goal of retrofitting its existing facilities with energy efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems. This will require the replacement of old energy inefficient Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning equipment with modern Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) 14 equipment. The deliverable for this activity would be the replacement of 5 Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning systems on Tribal Government Support Buildings. Located on the Reservation, the buildings are public government buildings housing Chitimacha Employee Comprehensive Health Plan Insurance, Human Resources, Culture Department, Tribal Museum, Scholarship and Enrollment Department and Human Services.
