Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Conduct energy audits on six township municipal buildings (Township Hall, District Court, Community Activities Building, Fire Stations 2, 3, and 5; 2) building retrofits to replace boilers and lighting fixtures in Township Hall and replace boilers in the 51st Court Building; 3) replace existing parking lot and campus roadway luminaries with beta edge light emitting diode (LED) luminaries and motion sensors to be mounted on existing poles; 4) install three small pilot wind turbines; 5) hire part-time employee to revise the Township?s non-motorized pathway and sidewalk plan to prioritize projects; 6) upgrade fleet with hybrid vehicles; and 7) conduct a two-year pilot program to develop and conduct a comprehensive energy monitoring and tracking program.
