The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Pantex Site Office, proposed an Operations Systems Development and Integration (OSD&I) project in Fiscal Year 2010, under project number LIN-10-001-C, to replace the existing functionality being performed by MRP-II/CAS. The project would enhance manufacturing operations utilizing modern software solutions. The project also would provide a technology refresh with added capability.
