The County of Fairfax in Virginia is proposing to use $60,000 in Department of Energy Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funding to purchase and install 10 electric vehicle charging stations al County building parking lots and maintenance facilities to support its plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) fleet. The 10 stations would all be Level 2 charging stations that would provide a nominal 240 volt 30 amp charging service.
