The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the National Association for State Community Services Programs for training, technical assistance, and communication tools to increase awareness of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). The proposed efforts would include: instruction and orientation to new and existing WAP grantees through webinars and conferences, and updated materials with WAP logos and slogans to promote the WAP message with the media, and at public events. Additionally, updated resources including a compendium of research, publications, templates, and an annual funding survey would be provided to WAP grantees to enhance their outreach efforts.
