CX-270050: New Gravel Parking Lot North of Idaho Falls (IF)-603 [Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Research Center (IRC)]

The proposed project would construct a gravel parking area north of the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Research Center (IRC) Laboratory building IF-603.  The location would be bounded by the east side of the landlord storage building (IF-610), the south side of the fence that is north of IF-610, the west side of the fence that is east of IF-610, and the north side of the asphalt driveway that is south of IF-610.  The area dimensions would be approximately 94' X 145' (see Figure 1). Twelve to eighteen inches of grass and soil would be replaced with compacted engineered soil and gravel.  The project is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year (FY)-15 at a cost of approximately $30 - 50K.  At some point in the future, the surface may be converted to asphalt.
