The TRA-653 men's shower is in need of remodeling due to the age, loose or missing ceramic tile and the difficulty in cleaning it. The proposed project will remove the shower materials including ceramic tile (approximately 385 square feet), grout, and grout base and replace with a new non-slip type tile, grout and grout seal. In addition, the hot water supply to TRA-649 men's and women's restrooms is not adequate and must be supplemented with two point-of-use, low demand electric water heaters. These water heaters will be installed in both men's and women's restrooms and will require minor electrical and plumbing modifications to connect them. These water heaters comply with the Federal Energy Conservation Standards in accordance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
