CX-270088: Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC)-1741 Modular Guard Station

Security personnel inside the fences at the Zero Power Physics Reactor (ZPPR) at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) building 775 use vehicles to maintain continuous watch of the ZPPR complex. The proposed action would install a new guard station building to house this security need. The proposed building would sit inside the fenced area, east of MFC-784. The building would be prefabricated and sit on a newly poured concrete foundation. An electrical ductway would be dug from the new building to MFC-784, and a new transformer with pad would be installed near the new guard station. No other utilities would be needed. The building would have counters, cabinets, electric heaters, and a computer workspace.
