The supply and return fuel lines for the 688-M-1 and 688-M-2 firewater pumps are routed in a trough in the floor that frequently fills with water and puts the fuel lines at risk for corrosion. The proposed action would replace the lines in the trough with stainless steel to negate the risk of corrosion (approximately 60 ft of pipe for 688-M-1 and 40 ft of pipe for 688-M-2). There will be no other changes to the configuration and design of the diesel fuel lines.
