The Single-Pane Highly Insulating Efficient Lucid Designs Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Program supports development and testing of technologies aimed to reduce energy consumption and building maintenance costs by improving the efficiency of single-pane windows by developing adhesive products that can be applied to existing windowpanes, manufacturing windowpanes with improved thermal insulation, and other innovative approaches to improve the efficiency of single-pane windows. The Single-Pane Highly Insulating Efficient Lucid Designs Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Program is comprised of three small-scale research and development projects that will be conducted by universities, nonprofits, for-profit entities, and federal laboratories.
