The objective of this project is to simulate encapsulation of debris wastes (i.e. filters) and stabilization of non-debris waste (i.e. ion exchange resins). This work will be accomplished by spiking clean surrogates for debris and non-debris waste and mixing it with various cementitious materials. Resulting monoliths will be tested to determine various properties. This work will be performed for Hanford to support development of the IDF Preliminary Assessment.
