Western Area Power Administration proposes to relocate the Granby Pumping Plant osprey nesting platform. The current platform is located in an area that will receive a significant amount of disturbance once construction begins on the Granby Pumping Plant to Windy Gap 138/69-kilovolt Transmission Line Rebuild project in 2017. Western Area Power Administration would relocate the nesting platform to an area northeast of Granby Pumping Plant to provide a spatial buffer from the construction activities and minimize disturbance to potential nesting activities.
