The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Giner, Inc. (Giner) to develop advanced catalysts and membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs) for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). Project activities would occur at Giner headquarters in Newton, MA, the State University of New York at Buffalo, the University of Pittsburgh, and General Motors in Pontiac, Ml.
