The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Steven Winters Associates to demonstrate the ability of an integrated energy management system to improve building operations and positively impact tenant behavior in order to achieve a 50% reduction in space heating energy use.
Activities associated with the proposed project would include specification, installation, and demonstration of an Energy Management and Information System (EMIS). The project team would install wireless thermostatic radiator valves & thermostats integrated with a cloud-based platform (EMIS) to sub-meter tenants in individual tenant units. Project management, system design and specification, and demonstration site identification and coordination would be completed from the offices of Steven Winter associates, Inc. in New York, NY.
