The current installed high pressure diffuser stages are manufactured by Johnson Mathey. The new stages are manufactured by Power and Energy are slightly different in design. This results in the necessity for the design of stage installation to be modified as well. Installation and in process assemblies will differ for the new stages due to sizing as well as operational differences (i.e. heating elements and thermocouple connections). These difference will vary based on the three different locations of the diffuser stages in Tritium Facilities (i.e. Tritium Process Station, DI, DS).
