In this final Rulemaking, DOE proposes new and amended energy conservation standards for residential conventional ovens with the new energy conservation standards for conventional cooking tops, as well as aligning the compliance dates for both product categories. DOE has determined that the energy conservation standards for these products would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified. These proposed standards, if adopted, would apply to all products listed in Table I.1, and manufactured in, or imported into, the United States starting on and after the date three years after the publication of the final rule for this rulemaking.
