In this final rule, DOE proposes new energy conservation standards for air compressors. DOE has determined that the energy conservation standards for these products would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified. These proposed standards, if adopted, would apply to all products listed in Table I.1 of the Proposed Rulemaking and manufactured in, or imported into, the United States on or after the date five years after the publication of the final rule.
