Kansas State University, in collaboration with the University of Illinois and Argonne National Laboratory, proposes to use thermographic imaging and Ultrasonic Doppler Velocimetry techniques to generate high fidelity thermal stratification and flow field data under various geometric and physical conditions for scaled modes of outlet plena in sodium-cooled fast reactors.
