Plutonium oxide will be produced as part of several programs including Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) and Work for Others (WFO). This production may include the characterization, mixing, and neutralization of aqueous process and product solutions, the heating of solids at elevated temperature, and the dissolution and characterization of solid materials.
