The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Amicus Solar Cooperative to establish a new cooperative business entity to provide services to solar PV asset owners throughout the United States.
Activities associated with the proposed project would include establishing the corporate entity, developing the operational infrastructure, recruiting and hiring staff, developing and launching a technical training program, beginning customer and stakeholder outreach activities, and launching an on-line communication platform. The proposed stand-alone project is comprised exclusively of intellectual activities involving education, training, and technical assistance that do not require use of physical materials beyond basic office supplies and software.
