The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to PowerScout to reduce customer acquisition costs and increase the availability of solar energy and solar product options for consumers through development of their direct-to-consumer eCommerce platform, “Community Solar Marketplace”.
Proposed project activities would include software and infrastructure development and integration, vendor/partner selection and management, performance testing, data analysis, customer engagement, and general and administrative functions. The proposed project would be limited to intellectual and analytical activities and would use no physical materials beyond basic office supplies and software.
