In this proposed rule, DOE proposes new and amended energy conservation standards for Uninterruptible Power Supplies. DOE has determined that the new and amended energy conservation standards for these products would result in significant conservation of energy, and are technologically feasible and economically justified. These proposed standards, if adopted, would apply to all products listed in Table I.1 of the Proposed Rulemaking and manufactured in, or imported into, the United States on or after the date two years after the publication of any final rule for this rulemaking.
