The current Decontaminated Salt Solution (DSS) Coalescer (P-307A/B) Tuthill pumps are currently running near their maximum output when Modular Caustic Side Solvent Extraction Unit (MCU) is running at 8.5 GPM Salt Solution Feed. For the future, MCU may be run up to 12 GPM and these pumps would be unable to keep up with this throughput. Pumps capable of greater flow throughput are necessary.
