Gwichyaa Zhee Gwichin Tribal Government (GZGTG) would utilize DOE and cost share funding to increase the insulation value of the GZGTG Tribal Hall, replace all tube lighting throughout the building with high efficiency LED lighting, and the install a solar array on both the Tribal Hall and the Tribe’s greenhouse.
This project includes: adding insulation to the attic space of the Tribal Hall, adding baffles to the truss bays along the roof of the Tribal Hall, replacing approximately 120 lights with LEDs, and installing approximately 23kw of solar photovoltaic on both the Tribal Hall and the Tribe’s greenhouse. There are no resources of concern within are around the proposed project area.
