Qualification Testing will be performed prior to accepting tank radioactive waste for processing at the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant (WTP). The qualification tests will ensure that the feed will meet acceptance criteria for processing as well as determining the operating parameters to be used during processing of the radioactive waste. SRNL will conduct simulant testing using the hydrogen generation rate (HGR) unit and the glass fabrication unit in support of this qualification testing.
