Analytical Development groups use class III and IV high power lasers for numerous spectroscopy applications including Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS), Laser Ablation, and Raman Spectroscopy, as well as for particle sizing and light scattering applications. LA techniques may be combined with ICP and mass spectrometry systems. The EEC covers the method development with prototype samples such as alanates, waste glass simulants, and other samples such as test soils to be tested at 999-2W.
