Electrochemical and Corrosion Testing
CX(s) Applied: B3.6
Date: 01/20/2015
Location(s): South Carolina
Offices(s): Savannah River Operations Office

The objective of this work is to characterize materials by performing electrochemical and corrosion tests at low temperatures or in the presence of high operating temperature heat transfer fluids, such as molten salts. A reactor will be used to perform experiments in order to determine corrosion rates, mechanisms or critical parameters for the testing material. Additional activities include the design, procurement, fabrication and functional testing of the reactor assembly with all supply services.
